Boombot 2: Return of the Boom King is a fun yet challenging problem solving brain teaser & physics-based puzzle game where you have to propel a cute and durable little robot to an Exit Portal using an extensive arsenal of bombs, dynamite, and other explosives. Create at least one explosion (a sudden release of energy that causes powerful pressure waves through the air in the immediate area) on each level in order to blast Boombot through the air, around obstacles, over cliffs, and more!
This is a very tricky interactive puzzle activity that definitely requires close concentration, slick observation skills, good timing & judgement, accurate mouse-clicking ability, a cool head under pressure, and the determination and tenacity of a true scientist or sleuth. Quick reactions are 'essential' in this game as you have to react immediately to evolving situations, moving objects, secondary explosions, and other challenges and occurrences. Remember that Patience is a virtue, and you will need all your reserves of this key trait as you progress and have to replay some levels a number of times in order to work out what you need to do to reach the Exit Portal. How to Play: There are 50 increasingly difficult levels in Boombot 2. In each, you must maneuver Boombot to the blue Exit Portal, normally located on the opposite side of the game screen to your brave little friend. He cannot move by himself, so you have to propel him using carefully-placed bombs and the other explosives (such as Oil containers & TNT) present in the level.

Using your computer mouse or touchpad, Left Click and hold to plant a bomb exactly where your mouse cursor is pointing. Release the click to detonate the bomb. The longer you hold down the Left Click, the larger the bomb becomes, and the greater its explosive force. If you hold the Click down for too long, the bomb size shrinks back down (and repeats this action over and over for as long as you hold down the click). The knack here is to time the detonation to exactly the amount of force you feel you need to create in order to blast Boombot in the desired direction. Once Boombot comes into contact with any part of the Exit Portal, you progress to the next level.
You only have a limited number of bombs (like shots) available in each level. You can see how many bombs you have remaining on the right side of the game screen. Click the Reset Button below this Bomb Total to restart the level if you get stuck or use up all of your bombs. In later levels, you can use other explosives such as TNT, Plastic Explosives, and Oil Drums to further increase your firepower. These extra explosives are already placed within each level, and must be set off in order to have an impact on the action.
